TV Thwarted Nomination of Kulič and Pecka

Karel Brückner revealed during official announcing nomination of the national team for the friendly match between the Czech Republic and Denmark that will take place on Wednesday, November 15, that he considered inviting also Pecka together with Kulič from the team of Mladá Boleslav in spite of the fact that he noticed a drop of his form resulting from enormous autumn load. "I talked about him with the coach Uhrin, whether he could play in other posts. Moreover we have also Matějovský there, Boleslav is a team from which we draw now," said the head-coach of the national team in front of journalists and continued in explaining nomination background. Where there was a week for a match of the national team formerly, the league matches were played on Saturday so that the players could have rest on Sunday. But is has changed. As I learnt, this was ordered by our management. Yes gentlemen, TV is a mighty sorceress. If it is in contract that they may select any match for broadcasting, I can do nothing with it," added Brückner. And confirmed in this way, that the nomination of Kulič and Pecka in the national team was thwarted by unhappy joint decision of the persons from the management of the Czech-Moravian Football Association and Czech TV.
