The first summer defeat caused by Austrian Graz

The home side took lead very quickly as Amerhauser scored already in the 6th minute. Mladá Boleslav players answered with increased activity which however had no goal effect for long time. Kulič missed the goal, Vít's header was saved by a miraculous save of the goalkeeper Schranz, Ševinský's header cleared the post and Kysela missed big chance when he stood alone in front of the goalkeeper. Only in the 29th minute, Abrahám managed to strike a reversed ball after a corner kick so nicely in the top corner of the goal that the excellent Austrian goalkeeper was unable to save it - 1:1. Matějovský was unsuccessful just immediately when he hit only the goalkeeper in an advantageous position. The defence of Mladá Boleslav failed in the 32nd minute when Stamfest overcame Vaculík at first and his centre pass was aimed behind the back of Kučera by Skoro. The situation could be even worse three minutes later. The goalkeeper Kučera made a mistake and fouled the Korean player in Austrian services No Pyung in his effort to correct the mistake so that the referee ordered a penalty kick. But Kučera saved Horvath's strike. Kulič showed his skills in the 39th minute when he foxed four opponent's players and equalized the score - 2:2.

The headcoach Uhrin changed most of the players for the second half in order give them opportunity which naturally affected playing of the team. "Our playing lost continuity and despite of the fact that we manifested more initiative, we did not manage to equalize the score for the third time," said the sport director Kudela immediately after the match. The goalkeeper Kučera saved two solo attacks of No Pyung and Horvath at first in the second half. The decisive moment came in the 70th minute. Sedláček hit the post of the Austrian goal after Holub's pass and an immediate counterattack in open Mladá Boleslav defence was terminated by No Pyung by a precise strike from ten- metre distance - 3:2.

The match was played in the training centre of Grazer AK in front of five hundred visitors interested in home general testing match before the first round of the Austrian top league competition. FK Mladá Boleslav will pass a general testing match for the new season only on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 8.00 p.m. against the leading French team Stade Rennes.
