The Slovácko football team introduced themselves as a valiant squad in Pojizeří, charging at the opponent with their fast and fearless attackers. Mladá Boleslav allowed the visitors to lead the score twice; the consequent defense line repairs cost the home team a lot of stamina. As the autumn sequence of League and Cup matches is quite demanding, strength is a commodity that seems rather scarce. The duel ran in a tight, nervous atmosphere that caused two of the home players, Kulič and Matějovský, to get an unnecessary card-ban for the last League game of the season. Therefore, the Mladá Boleslav team is going to have to do without these two kickers in Olomouc.

The players of Mladá Boleslav were welcomed by hospitable weather in Bucharest. The sky was semi-clouded and the thermometer indicated sixteen degrees of Centigrade above zero in the Rumanian capital at the time of arrival, i.e. an hour after noon of CET. The football delegation moved in two coaches with police escort from the airport in two hotels in the downtown within an hour.

The champion match of the 15th round of the Gambrinus league FC Slovan Liberec - FK Mladá Boleslav on Sunday, 19 November at 8:15 p.m. will be conducted by a trio of German referees. The Football Association of the Czech Republic asked the German Football Association for cooperation in a similar way as it did before the autumn Prague derby Sparta vs. Slavia. This time, Peter Sippel will be the head-referee and Josef Maier and Walter Hofmann will be his assistants.
The Mladá Boleslav footballers got the victory against Most by hard work and by collective effort. This time, the main characters of the game were the goalkeeper Miroslav Miller, the centre forward Martin Abraham and the striker Luboš Pecka. All of them agreed that Most was a very hard opponent. Therefore, the three points for Mladá Boleslav could not be taken for granted until the referee's last whistle.
