The battle in Strahov field for the third league position ended with a draw, which is more favourable for Mladá Boleslav in the current situation. The referee booked more players with yellow card than he whistled goals. Players of each side were booked five times, moreover, Poláček from the Mladá Boleslav team was sent off after a duel with Krajčík. "I was close to it and Poláček's interference did not deserved booking and the less sending off," said Dušan Uhrin to journalists after the match. Luboš Pecka confirmed his scoring abilities and ambitions to capture the crown of the league scoring king for this season on the pitch in České Budějovice. He has calmed down his team-mates by the fastest goal in his football career and after the break in the 66th minute he added the second goal from a penalty kick which was ordered by the referee after the defender Kaufman playing with hand had knocked down Poláček's centre shot heading to the Boleslav's striker.
The match between Zlín and Mladá Boleslav was a jubilee for Dušan Uhrin, as it ranked the rounded number 100 in his League career. He celebrated the occasion with a 2:0 win. In the press meeting, he accented the team's performance of the second half of the game, when Pecka opened the score with a very important first goal. The second scoring mark was delivered near the dawn of the half, when the two replacing players, Kysela and Rolko combined their efforts for deliverance. Pavel Hoftych, coach of the defeated team, said that team Mladá Boleslav is currently better than Sparta Prague of these days.
The coach to Kladno team, Miroslav Koubek, claims the draw match between Kladno and Mladá Boleslav to be a well-performed theatre play, in which both teams showed dynamic gameplay. Dušan Uhrin, coach of Boleslav, said the pace of the match was very fast throughout both halves. Each coach had different issues to handle before the kickoff. While Uhrin had to cope with the absence of many players he would have liked to include in his tactical plans, Koubek had the entire pool of players ready and willing to battle, without any health or disciplinary limitations.
