Boleslav started in style. Mendy dribbled into the rivals' penalty box in the 4th minute, and shot past the exposed goalie Sňozík - 0:1.
Bohemians has little success with their first corner kick or with Rychlík's free kick. Opiela's free kick at the other end was boxed out in front of the incoming Dimitrovský by Sňozík.
Thanks to a mishandled ball by Dimitrovsky near the by-line in the 19th minute Bohemians won an easy second corner. Kraus crossed the ball in front of the of Boleslav's goal but it was intercepted by Šírl, but he only managed to clear it straight back to the opponent. Kraus passed the ball back into the penalty box and it unluckily deflected of a falling defender into the path of Nešpor, who found himself in a good shooting position firing along the ground to overcome Šeda - 1:1.

Boleslav played perhaps their poorest half of the spring season in the second half. They almost drowned in their inaccurate passes, unable to deal with their opponent's drive in one-on-one clashes.
Škoda attacked easily down the left side of an open Boleslav defence in the 54th minute, and Dimitrovski was unable to prevent him from centering a pass. His sharp shot zoomed across the front of the goal mouth, and a sliding Nešpor was waiting at the far post to slot the ball home behind Šeda's back - 2:1.
Boleslav succeeded to win two corner kicks, but failed to trouble Sňozík at all. The tired team was not even rejuvenated by changes to their lineup. Štohanzl easily cut through the middle of the Boleslav defence in the 69th minute, and hit the right post after firing past the onrushing Šeda. Boleslav players were oblivious to the warning. So it was that Bohemians who completed the doom in the 70th minute. Rychlík's free kick was headed goalward by Škoda; Šeda's dive could not prevent a disaster - 3:1.
Shots high above the target followed at both ends of the field. At the Bohemians' end by Moravec and Štohanzl, and for Boleslav by Opiela. Štohanzl's shot in the 80th minute at the heart of the goal was safely covered by Šeda. Five minutes before time Mendy confirmed that it was not to be Boleslav's day, when he shot over an open Bohemians goal, however none of his teammates were able to find it in the second half.
