They Only Collected One Point in the Opening Spring Match

The first half saw a slightly more active Boleslav. They had the advantage of three corner kicks in the first five minutes. Táborsky's direct free kick from the side line in the 7th minute was redirected by Procházka's header into the net, but the referees saw it as offside and did not allow the goal. Chramosta missed another excellent shooting position in the 21st minute. He fought his way through the defenders and tried to place the ball behind goalie Hruska, but he was equal to the task and stretched enough to prevent the goal.
Boleslav was then saved by the amazing reaction of Miller in the 33rd minute. From a direct free kick, Příbram's Koukal succeeded to beat the Boleslav defensive wall, but failed to beat the goalie who flew to his right to turn the ball away for a corner at full stretch.
A Kulič pass in the second-last minute of the half found Opiela who shot from a distance of more than twenty meters, and this time it was Hruška giving his all to deflect the ball out for a corner.

Boleslav continued attacking the Příbram goal in the second half. Kulič hesitated for too long five minutes after the break and missed a good shooting opportunity inside the penalty box. Soon after a Klesa shot was batted away by Miller for a corner which saw J. Štochl overshot the goal from the resulting restart.

Kulič persevered on the edge of the penalty box and created a chance for Chramosta in the 64th minute; he missed the ball at first and then lingered for long enough to allow the defender to send him to the ground with impunity.

The next Boleslav's offensive was also sterile. Mendy tried in vain to push through to the penalty box, and Kalina's volley failed. However, it got much worse when Kalina botched his pass, and Příbram's counterattack saw M. Štochl alone against Miller, who succeeded to beat the miscued shot behind for a corner. The resulting kick saw Klesa's header reflexively deflected by Miller before Procházka headed the goal-bound ball away from the goal line.

The dramatic course of the match culminated in the last fifteen minutes. Boleslav was on the offensive and risked their defense being opened on their rival's breaks. Šírl's corner kick was headed goalward by Dimitrovski, but it was miraculously batted away by the goalie Hruška. Then Mendy's shot missed the left post by a few mere inches. Procházka's cannon ball flew close to the upper left corner.

Three minutes before the end M. Štochl ran away along the left side line, leaving both Rolko and Kalina behind, before passing to an unguarded Wágner who was alone in front of Miller, but he missed the left post of the Boleslav goal just millimeters. Just before the final whistle Dimoutsos missed a great chance to score his first goal in Boleslav colors.
