Series of invincibility unexpectedly ended at home

Their opponents entered the 15th round match in a completely different mood. Boleslav had not lose their previous nine league encounters and in the past four Championships, Slovácko had not even taken a point being outscored 12 goals to 1. In addition to that, since autumn arrived, Boleslav has the second best record on home turf and Slovácko the second worst when playing away from home and had not scored a league goal for 310 minutes. Therefore, the favourite on the paper was obvious. But deceptive.

Even though the Boleslav players started energetically and Kulič and Mendy had chances in the opening minutes, they were behind at halftime.
In the 7th minute, after an unselfish Švancara header back across goal, Ondřejka failed to beat Šeda from ten metres. However, in the 10th minute, Fujerik was given enough time to shoot and after a big deflection dropped inside the right goalpost with Šeda trying to reach it in vain - 0:1.

The goal completely changed the expected ratio of power on the field. Boleslav, taken by surprise, was fighting off the active Slovácko. After weathering the ensuing storm the Boleslav players started attacking again.
Táborský made a run into the goal area, but his centred pass in front of the goal did not make it through the defence. After a good interchange with Táborský, Kulič had a chance but did not utilise it, and Řezníček's follow-up shot was turned away by Filipko for a corner. Šeda's kick-outs saw both Kulič and Řezníček surging onto chances, but they could not beat the Slovácko goalie. After a one-two with Táborský, Kúdela played a perfect pass to Řezníček but his was intercepted by Filipko. A moment later he produced a fingertip save from the boot of Opiela and then managed to keep out the follow-up from Řezníček. After back-heels from Táborský and Řezníček, Kulič ran onto the ball, but Filipko again prevented the chance blocking the ball at his feet.

Among Boleslav's real goal chances Slovácko's won their first corner in the 31st minute that saw an unmarked Fujerik fire into Šeda's legs, and on a counter attack five minutes later Švancara sharply shot straight into Šeda's waiting arms. Therefore, the first half ended with Slovácko in the narrowest of leads.

The second act of the unsuccessful game continued with Šeda's net being breached unexpectedly for the second time. In the 56th minute, a long kick-off from the Slovácko back left sideline was gathered by Švancara who jogged to the Boleslav's penalty area where he flummoxed Dimitrovski with three step-overs, and humiliated Boleslav's goalie with a slow low shot inside the right goalpost - 0:2.

Less than a minute after conceding the goal, Boleslav successfully attacked. Řezníček found himself alone in front of the goalie, but missed the goal with his cross-shot. Boleslav's pressure was growing however, at the same time, there were more and more open windows in the Boleslav defence suitable for Slovácko's breaks. A Švancara pass found Fujerik on the edge of the box but a timely Fabián interception saw the ball cleared to safety.
In front of the Slovácko's goal, Rolko and Dimitrovski both failed to hit the target from a Sedláček corner.

In the 68th minute, Kulič remembered his cannoneer's mission. From twenty metres, he perfectly hit the left upper corner of the Slovácko's goal leaving the excellent Filipko stretching in vain - 1:2.
However, four minutes later the happiness was over. A vertical pass from Švancara released Ondřejka one-on-one against Šeda finished with an accurate hit to the left goalpost - 1:3. "This goal decided the match" said the Boleslav coach, Karel Stanner.
The third goal inside the Boleslav goal was cruel. Boleslav had no other option than to start playing all or nothing. Řezníček, Opiela, and Mendy did not succeed in offensive attempts.
Only in the 87th minute, Kysela worked himself into a shooting position after Sedláček's centre, and with a neat instep fired it past Filipko - 2:3. There were still five minutes left for an equaliser, including the extra time. However, the Boleslav football players did not manage to repair a match of wasted chances.
