After loosing to Sparta five times, they finally scored

Boleslav was better at the start of the match. Already in the 2nd minute, it had the advantage of a corner, and in the 4th minute a second one. Both were taken by Táborský. The first one was inaccurately finished by Fabián. The second one was knocked on by Rolko's near-post header finding Kulič at the back post who fired it into the back of the net with his close-range header. The referees saw him in an offside and did not allow the goal. If Kulič had not touched the ball the referee would have to allow a regular goal...
Sparta replied with a Matějovský shot. In the 6th minute, Dimitrovski lost his duel with Wilfried whose shot from an angle flew over the Boleslav goal.

For the majority of the first half attacks were breaking from goal mouth to goal mouth. Wet grass contributed to quick interchanges and made shooting positions more difficult. Rolko headed a Matějovský in-swinger straight at Wilfried. After a Chramosta's pass, Kulič was stopped by the referees because he was offside. A Kadlec break was cancelled by Rolko. Řepka stopped Mendy at the price of a corner, and from the kick Rolko failed to direct his header goalward. A Kadlec break was stopped by Dimitrovski. Vacek played around Procházka but could not get passed Rolko. Kalina's centre was misplayed by Řepka but Chramosta failed to capitalise from inside the goal area.

In the 41st minute, Mendy broke into Sparta's penalty area from the right wing and Řepka was forced to concede a corner with a sliding tackle. The kick was taken by Táborský and after a collision with Řepka, Blažek knocked the ball into the path of Opiela who uncompromisingly scored - 0:1. It was Opiela's first goal in a Mladá Boleslav jersey.
Two minutes after the goal, Fabián drove into the penalty area and his searching pass was almost turned in for an own goal by Řepka. At the end of the half Chramosta and Kulič surged onto chances, but could not increase the narrow lead.

In the second half Sparta made two changes to their team. It added movement and vehemence. And with the knowledge that referee Paták was on their side in the personal duels, they pushed toward the Boleslav goal.
In the 62nd minute, Blažek handled a deflected Táborský shot, and in the 64th minute, Boleslav survived a big Sparta chance. Podaný fouled Rolko without punishment and Wilfried overshot an unguarded Boleslav goal from five meters. In two minutes, Kulič almost punished Sparta's inconsistent defence but overshot with his left foot from fifteen meters. Then, in the 67th minute, Táborský's penalty kick was taken by Blažek on the second try, directly in front of the onrushing Chramosta. In the 70th minute after a Sionko corner and an unpunished Wilfried offensive foul on Opiela, Kucka fired a shot half a meter above the goal.

The Boleslav players finally succumbed to the pressure in the 83rd minute. Kladrubský's centre from the right sideline flew over the width of the goal, and at the far goalpost an unguarded Wilfried who accurately placed his header in Miller's uncovered corner - 1:1.
However unlike in spring, Sparta did not manage to turn the match around. After five league loses against Sparta, Boleslav at least earned one point in Letná. That is in part due to Miller who saved a Pamič shot after he got away after Kalina had slipped in the duel inside the final minute.
