Dramatic battle decided with a goal by Rolko

Baník had the first chance to score. In the 7th minute, Dimitrovski knocked Frejlach's cross out for a corner and the resulting kick saw Bolf jump highest in front of the Mladá Boleslav goal but his header just missed the crossbar by several centimeters.  In the 13th minute, Fabián seized a pass by Ostrava but spoiled the attack after neither asserting himself or looking for threesome of Mendy, Chramosta and Bulut who were awaiting his pass.
In the 20th minute, Táborský took a corner. Marek's defensive header on the near post only found Táborský again who sent the ball without hesitation across the Ostrava goal for the second time. Rolko jumped highest of all at the near goalpost, beating the both the players around him and the helpless keeper to the ball - 1:0.
The end of the first half saw Ostrava withstand further pressure from Mladá Boleslav. In the 38th minute, Táborský's free kick was directed goalward by Mendy's head but Neves was on hand to prevent the goal behind the beaten keeper.Mladá Boleslav took the resulting corner through Táborský and Ostrava survived again at the expense of another corner kick. The corner was taken by Opiela and the rebound fell to kindly to Fabián who fired a well struck volley with his left foot. Only an impressive dive from the goalkeeper Baránek prevented the ball from finding the top left corner of the goal as he punched it safely away for another corner kick.

In the second half, no further goals were added even though there were many chances to score. In the 53rd minute, a concerted effort by the Ostrava players led to them attacking the Mladá Boleslav penalty area. Frejlach found himself one on one with Miller at the end of the passing move but failed to get his shot on target. Around the 60th minute, Ostrava won a succession of corners. The second one saw Neuwirth's header turned away before Pilík tried his luck with a header from inside the six yard box. Fortunately it sailed above the croossbar.
A nice Mladá Boleslav attack came to nothing after a pass from Fabián allowed Bulut to run the ball past the central defender Neuwirth, but his shot only ended in Baránek's gloves. In the 66th minute, Mendy's pass to Bulut was trapped by Neuwirth in mid-air but before he could stand up, Chramosta gathered and passed the ball to Bulut who had a clear chance to score. However the Australian forward missed the best moment to take a shot.
In the 68th minute, the active Pilík finished an individual effort by firing a shot just over Miller's crossbar.
In the 73rd minute, Mendy passed the ball to Kulič who quickly worked his way into the penalty area, before trying to find Chramosta with a clever chipped kick, but the Ostrava defenders were alert and eliminated the chance. They were also lucky enough to foil a chance by Rolko. In the 77th minute, Mendy played Táborský in but his shot from five meters hit Baránek and Kulič was unable to gather the rebound and the chance went begging. In the following minute Kulič again tried to force his way into the Ostrava penalty area and was tripped but the defender escaped without punishment. Two minutes before the end saw Sedláček pass a low ball to Kulič from almost a zero angle and Kulič surprised the goalkeeper with an impressive back heel kick, but the shot barely missed the right hand goalpost.
