The coach Stanner could not count on Václav Procházka, as he was punished for receiving four yellow cards. For the first time the coach did not nominate Opiela to the opening team and had Rolko at his disposal for the first time, after Rolko could not play in the two preceding matches due to disciplinary punishment imposed on him in the autumn.

The first chance to score in the game was unused by Bohemians, when Kaufman missed an empty goal, but in the following minutes of the first half, the Mladá Boleslav players were more active. Mendy did not score, even though he appeared alone in front of Sňozík twice. Zahustel missed the goal, and when he shot at the goal again, he hit the goalkeeper. The first half ended without any goals scored, which was great luck for Bohemians and frustrating bad luck for Mladá Boleslav.

The second half started tragically for Mladá Boleslav. Rolko missed the ball when he tried to kick it off and after the following foul committed by him, the referee Matějek ordered a penalty kick. The penalty was converted by Kaufman in minute 48 - 1:0. Mladá Boleslav players did not present such a danger to the Bohemians goal in the second half as they did in the first half. In the second-last minute they conceded the second goal scored by Štohanzl, i.e. the player who also decided the autumn match in Mladá Boleslav for Bohemians - 2:0.
