Bolka lost a home match for the second time

In an effort to avoid mistakes from the last league match against Jablonec, the Boleslav players started even worse. They conceded a goal in the 2nd minute. Miller rebounded a high ball after a corner kick, but he did not manage to react to a shot by unmarked Pospěch – 0:1. It was an unpleasant blow. The Boleslav players tried to recover from it as quickly as possible, but they were hot-headed and inaccurate in the finishing of most of their attacks.

Pecka passed the ball to Papadopulos who extended the pass to Poláček at the boundary of the penalty area and he scored past the goalkeeper Lejsal in the 22nd minute – 1:1. Kalivoda took a free kick towards the Boleslav goal from an apparently safe distance in the 35th minute. Mach was unexpectedly hesitating inside of the penalty area and surprised Sylvestre did not manage to rectify his mistake and Trousil overcame helpless Miller easily from several metres away – 1:2. Similarly as in the preceding league match, the Boleslav defence line hesitated again several minutes after returning from the dressing room. Kalina in an effort to divert a free kick taken by Kalivoda with his head only passed the ball to unmarked Pospěch who defeated Miller from an acute angle luckily in the 49th minute – 1:3.

The head-coach Hapal reduced the defence line to three players when he withdrew Mach and strengthened the offensive with Táborský. Mendy escaped along the right-hand line in the 67th minute and passed the ball in front of the goal almost from the goal line. Papadopulos was in the right place and gave no chance to Lejsal - 2:3. Brno undertook a successful attack in the open Boleslav defence one minute before the end of the match. Živný passed the ball from the left-hand side from the goal line to Kalivoda who completed the disaster from a one-metre distance – 2:4. The added four minutes changed nothing in the score of the match.
