Foreigners in the Slavia Team Toleski and Belaid Beat Boleslav

The Boleslav players started the second half better than they finished the first one. A neat exchange of passes between Rajnoch and Hrdlička split the defence but Rajnoch put his shot wide. The Boleslav marksman was played in again, this time by Řezníček, and his shot was heading inside the upright only for the goalkeeper Vaniak to deny him at full stretch.

Against the run of play Švento outran Ševinský along the left-hand line and crossed the ball perfectly to Belaid at the back post and he scored the simplest of goals in the 61st minute – 0:2.

Two unfavourable decisions went against Boleslav in the 66th minute which saw both the players and spectators cast their anger towards the referee Franěk who failed to punish a blatant push on Táborský by Latka and then waved away appeals for a penalty after a Slavia defender had handled the ball in the area.

Kalina beat two opposing players but his effort was unsuccessful in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Řezníček had the ball in the back of  the Slavia net after Vaniak had dropped the ball but once again a poor decision from the referee saw the goal denied for an alleged offside against T. Sedláček who was not involved in the play at all.

Švento troubled the Boleslav defence till the end of the match. A shot by Černý after a pass by Švanto was off target in the 87th minute; and the Slovak express attempted to lob the approaching Miller in the 88th minute but he failed to find the net.
