Brno was taken to pieces by Matějovský, firstly cut by Pecka and finished by Holub

Play took place in the half of Brno for most of the time. The audience did not manage to breathe over one operation while another already started. "The team presented one of the best performances," appraised the head-coach Dušan Uhrin after the match.
The defence of Brno stopped Dittrich with foul that was not noticed maybe by only the referee in the 5th minute and on the contrary, only the referee saw Poláček in an offside position five minutes later. In the 21st minute, Matějovský passed the ball to Poláček in the left-hand wing area, Pecka and Dittrich tried reach his centre pass but Dittrich terminated a promising operation inaccurately. Matějovský tried to shoot from a free kick three times and that one in the 27th minute was his best effort, however, the goalkeeper Bureš diverted the ball from the left-hand post to a corner excellently. Kysela ran away the defence of Brno in the 31th minute, the goalkeeper Bureš went out of the penalty area against him and knocked the Boleslav player so roughly that he tore the boot of the forward of Mladá Boleslav. Also the defenders Palát and Ševinský tried to shoot on the goal but their shots were inaccurate. Poláček attempted to find Pecka in the goal area in the 41st minute, but the ball did not get to the striker of Mladá Boleslav.
Even if it seemed that the team of Mladá Boleslav could not create more dominance than in the first half, the players managed to intensify their effort. And this was not only the result of the fact that the rival played one man down, but in particular by tremendous desire to score at least one goal. One attack after another moved toward the substitute goalkeeper Hrdlička. Pecka headed a centre pass from Poláček only several centimetres from the left-hand post in the 53rd minute. Then neither Poláček nor Pecka utilized a pass of Kysela. Sedláček hit only a defender of Brno after Poláček's effort in the 60th minute. One minute later, Pecka passed the ball in one-hundred-percent chance to Kysela, but the score of the match remained the same.
The players of Brno reminded themselves by a smashing shot of Siegl in the right-hand top corner but the attentive goalkeeper saved.
In the 68th minute, Kysela tricked several opponent players by the right-hand side line and his long centre pass landed on the head of Pecka who started the scoring list at last - 1:0. The players of Mladá Boleslav then slackened pace a little bit and allowed Vrána shooting. But Miller jumped to the right-hand post of his goal in time. The head-coach Uhrin refreshed vanishing offensive by deployment of the substitute experienced forward Holub. And he scored coolly after excellent Matějovský's perpendicular pass in the 86th minute - 2:0. But Holub missed one good scoring chance already before and, on the other side, Miller diverted Chlup's shot only to a corner.
The match was ended in applause of the satisfied audience who could see ninety minutes of unflagging effort of the team of Mladá Boleslav and two-goal win as a merciful result with respect to the rival from Brno.
