Both Uhrin and Muňoz Long for Victory

The head-coach of Mladá Boleslav emphasized that a match of European cup is something quite different than an ordinary league match for his team. He identified considerable offensive force based on a couple of top quality forwards and frequent play through wings along both sides of the pitch as a characteristic feature of playing performance of the Greek team. "We will try to apply pressing on the opponent's half of the pitch," indicated Uhrin his ideas how his players should eliminate opponent's activity. And who will play alongside Matějovský when neither Abraham nor Šmerda can take part in? "I have substitutes with sufficient quality in Rajnoch, Vít or Ilongo for this post. I will decide who of them will play only in the morning before the match," said the head-coach of Mladá Boleslav. Uhrin reacted negatively to a question whether current cold weather in Pojizeří could be an advantage for Boleslav team. "Current weather does not represent any advantage for us as the team of Panathinaikos is used to play even in colder parts of Europe than their country from frequent participations in European cups," said Uhrin and added that maybe only fifteen-degree frost could surprise the players from the south of Europe, but such frost does not threatens in these days. The Greek delegation came in cold Pojizeří from twenty-degree warmth, but Víctor Muňoz does not suppose that his players could have problems with acclimatization. "I do not see weather as a serious problem."
Victor Muňoz spoke in his native Spanish at the official press conference in the premises of Mladá Boleslav city stadium, one mate on his left-hand interpreted Spanish words in Greek for the present Greek journalists and another interpreter interpreted them from Greek in Czech for Czech journalists. Muňoz assured curious journalists that even if Panathinaikos have tough league program and lost the Athens derby 1 : 2 on the last Sunday and the match against the leading league team Olympiakosem Pireus is ahead of them next Sunday, they will play in the strongest possible line-up in Mladá Boleslav.
