Mladá Boleslav tied in Oslo and goes through

Home player Holm scored a denied goal already in the 8th minute from an offside position, however, Valerenga players did not created promised pressure. Playing frequently took place in the middle of the pitch, Norwegians relied upon long passes which were averted by the Mladá Boleslav defence. Ševinský saw a yellow card for a foul committed on Grindheim in the 14th minute. The referee showed a yellow card also Palát after his action against Gashi in the 31st minute. These cards evidenced careful defence of Mladá Boleslav as well as strictness of the Scottish referee. The most important moment for the progress of the Norwegian-Czech battle for promotion came in the 41st minute. Kulič prepared ball for a free kick several metres from a side line and Brezinský jumped successfully for his nicely curved pass. He was sooner at the ball than the surprised goalkeeper Arason - 0:1. In the second minute of extra time of the first half, active Fredheim got behind Ševinský and found by his ground pass the team-mate Dos Santos in the goal area. However, he missed unprotected goal of Mladá Boleslav in a clear chance so that the teams left the pitch for the break with the score favourable for Mladá Boleslav.
The battle for advance in the next round got pace after the break. There were more duels and the Norwegian champion deployed fresh players shortly after the break. Nervousness started to appear among Norwegian players with elapsing time. A duel for the ball between Matějovský and Gashi turned in a clash which the referee settled by talking to at first. But the duel between Abrahám and Holm in the 66th minute was assessed by cards by the Scottish referee: he showed Holm yellow card and Abrahám red one. There was much confusion and offended gesticulation about that as the players of Mladá Boleslav deemed rightful that the cards should be shown by the referee reversely. But bad luck did not ended with that: Valerenga equalized. Norwegians took a free kick in the 72nd minute after Brezinský's foul and Lange headed the pass, however, Vít was the last player to help the ball to get behind Kučera's back - 1:1. And inferno started. Playing took place mostly on the half of Mladá Boleslav, Flo hit the post and sent his shot above the goal a few minutes later.
The weakened team defended their goal against Norwegian pressure with concentration and waited for a relieving break situation. And it came in the 84th minute. Kulič run away the defence of Valerenga and rushed to the goal. One of defenders caught up with him in the penalty area but the skipper of Mladá Boleslav dribbled successively and scored a promotional goal under the falling down goalkeeper Arason - 1:2. Valerenga equalized once more, however, that was all what the players of Mladá Boleslav allowed them. In the 87th minute, the goalkeeper Kučera managed to divert a failed pass of Brezinský only to the post and Fredheim sent the ball in the net easily - 2:2. Flo scored another goal in a four-minute extra time but it was denied because of offside. Even if this would not be the case, the goal would not change anything on the promotion for Mladá Boleslav.
