Mladá Boleslav tried surprise the rival from Olomouc like the Norwegian champion by crushing start. Mladá Boleslav players played sluggishly and missed verve for most of the first half. Randa converted the penalty kick in a goal safely in the 35th minute. He aimed close to the left-hand post while Kučera risked jump to the right-hand one - 0:1. Mladá Boleslav failed to respond to the goal sustained and lost the first half. But they rectified everything after the break even if it did not look well for long time. The coach Uhrin decided to make the second substitution in the 68th minute. He withdrew Poláček from the pitch and deployed Holub in the match.
